The new NesseCom “Real Time Location Tracking” or RTLS uses state of the art locational technology to give highly accurate positioning of staff and patients. The RTLS module can be fitted with the NesseCom nurse call messaging system or be a standalone tracking and duress system.
NesseCom RTLS uses completely sealed staff and patient TAGS to ensure safety from cross infection.
Staff TAGS are sensed as they enter the room and can automatically cancel low level alarms and initiate a nurse presence.
When staff are rounding without an active call the system can sense the TAG and activate a Nurse presence. When the staff member leaves the room, the nurse presence call is canceled.
NesseCom RTLS has an MBB fitted to each room that locates TAGs and transmits their location wirelessly to the server. The MBB can interface with patient TV and over bed lights removing the need for expensive TV modifications and 3rd party relays.
